The ESD specialist training teaches all the essential basics of ESD protection in electronics manufacturing in accordance with the ESD standard IEC / DIN EN 61340-5-1. Previous knowledge is not required. The participant learns the most important ESD standards, physical properties of electrostatics, ESD protection measures and markings in an ESD protection zone (EPA) and acquires a sound understanding of ESD protection.
GOALS
Intensive introduction to ESD protection, overview of possible ESD protection measures and what practical solutions look like. The difference to the ESD coordinator training is that in this training the focus is on the ESD basics, the ESD control elements and their practical implementation.
TARGET GROUP
Our ESD basics training is aimed at department heads, group leaders and employees from product development to dispatch who regularly handle ESD hazardous components (ESDS) or have irregular access to an ESD protected area (EPA).

Practical part:
You would like to register for the ESD specialist training? Simply fill in the registration form with the desired date and send it to us. By clicking on "Send", you register bindingly for the selected training session. After checking the availability of the remaining places, you will receive your training confirmation and invoice by e-mail. The invoice amount is due before the training session takes place. The training fees include the training materials as well as drinks and lunch - hotel costs are not included if you are arriving from out of town. However, we will be happy to assist you in recommending a nearby hotel.
The general terms and conditions of the Weidinger company apply. Cancellation fees: Up to two weeks before the event 20%, thereafter 100% of the invoice amount is due. However, the registration can be transferred. The organiser reserves the right to change the programme at short notice and to cancel for unforeseeable reasons.
