The ESD basics training teaches all essential basics of ESD protection in electronics manufacturing in accordance with the ESD standard IEC / DIN EN 61340-5-1. Previous knowledge is not required. The participant learns the most important ESD standards, physical properties of electrostatics, ESD protection measures and markings in an ESD protection zone (EPA) and acquires a sound understanding of ESD protection.

Our ESD basics training is aimed at department heads, group leaders and employees from product development to dispatch who regularly handle ESD hazardous components (ESDS) or have irregular access to an ESD protected area (EPA).

None. An understanding of process and manufacturing procedures is advantageous.

The course fees include the course materials, drinks and lunch, but not the hotel costs if you are travelling from out of town. However, we will be happy to assist you in recommending a hotel.
