The ATLAS Waterproof smooth leather has to withstand special challenges throughout the entire working day. The approx. 2mm thick full-grain cowhide leather is particularly characterised by its lasting waterproofness and thus ensures dry feet for several hours. It is also particularly breathable, durable and dimensionally stable.

Biting cold and fickle weather conditions: For these outdoor areas, it's all about the right outsole. With the ICE-AGE outsole system from ATLAS® you can reach your destination with surefootedness. This depends on the interaction of several factors: The ergonomic tread design of the MPU outsole provides extreme grip on cold and slippery surfaces (SRC) and optimum insulation of the shoe interior from cold bridges. At the same time, the MPU midsole is primarily responsible for soft-bedding cushioning and energy absorption of the stepping movement. With the puncture-resistant XP® technology, ATLAS® offers an innovative system to protect the foot against sharp objects such as nails. A high-tech textile material containing aramid fibres is used for this purpose. The increased safety is not at the expense of wearing comfort, because the textile is metal-free, extremely light and supports the natural torsion of the foot.

Alu-tec® technology: The new lightness. Aluminium has not only served as a high-tech material in aviation and the automotive industry for years, but also in many ATLAS safety shoes today. The anatomically shaped aluminium toe cap is particularly light and shifts the centre of gravity of the shoe to the middle of the foot. This actively helps to prevent tripping accidents caused by imbalance. The thermally neutral behaviour of aluminium also prevents cold bridges from forming inside the shoe and thus guarantees a pleasant foot climate in all seasons.

The overcap offers special protection against abrasion in the area of the shoe toe, protects the upper leather in this area against premature wear and noticeably increases the service life of the safety shoe.

GORE-TEX THERMO LINE offers best performance in freezing temperatures. Reliable waterproofing prevents moisture from penetrating. High comfort inside with thermal lining, perfect protection outside, all year round. The GORE-TEX membrane allows foot heat and moisture to escape to the outside and thus ensures pleasant foot temperature control, even on warm days.

Work healthier with the right cushioning. The new 3D cushioning system from ATLAS® enables noticeably gentle and fatigue-free walking. The basis for this outstanding walking comfort is formed by three basic components: Pressure relief. Cushioning. Dynamics. This is ensured by the perfect interaction of a pressure-relieving insole and the light and responsive MPU sole technology.
