Quality requirements in electronics manufacturing are constantly increasing. To meet these demands, we apply the highest standards not only to our products, but also to our services and processes. Our processes have been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since 1998. In addition, many of our technicians are qualified to IPC-A-610, and some are also Certified IPC Trainers. We ensure and maintain this expertise through regular internal and external training.
We also select our suppliers with the utmost care, based on clearly defined quality and sustainability criteria. For us, reliability begins long before shipping - and does not end with the customer.

APRIL 1948: FOUNDATION OF WEIDINGER GMBH
Dr Hanns W. Weidinger founds a small sales office for capacitors in Nuremberg in 1948.
1948 - 1970: FOCUSSING
Expansion of the product range to include instrument transformers, transformers and resistors.
1971 - 1995: SOLDERING TECHNOLOGY
Development of the soldering and desoldering stations product group
1996 - 2005: EXPANSION OF THE PRODUCT RANGE
Expansion to include extraction, solder and soldering agents, antistatic, tools, optical inspection and lighting, cleaning and technical sprays, dosing technology
JANUARY 2007: MERGER
Weidinger becomes part of the Hilpert electronics group (succession plan)
2012: NEW, LARGER COMPANY HEADQUARTERS
Over 1000 m² warehouse space and 400 m² office space
2014 - 2015: EXPANSION
Takeover of the company G. Werner in Austria and foundation of Weidinger GmbH in Switzerland as well as takeover of the Swiss company Sirel AG. Expansion of direct sales in Poland and expansion of the field sales team for western and northern Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Expansion of sales and doubling of sales volume from 2015.
2019: MARKET LEADER AND PRODUCT EXPANSION
Market leader for products for the electronics industry in the DACH region with a team of 60 employees. Strongest field sales team on the road in Europe. More than 60,000 items in the product portfolio and 9,000 customers per year.
2020: GROWTH AND DIGITALISATION
Move to the new headquarters and logistics centre in Gernlinden. Relaunch of the new B2B online shop.
2021: EXPANSION OF THE PRODUCT RANGE
Expansion of the product range to include robotics, hygiene and personal protective equipment (PPE).
2023: CERTIFICATION AS A TECHMAN ROBOT PARTNER
Official certification as an authorised Techman Robot partner for collaborative robotics solutions.
2024: TRAINING PROGRAMME EXPANDED - ON-SITE SOLDERING TRAINING FOR COMPANIES
Launch of new practice-orientated soldering training courses by IPC-certified trainers at your company's premises
