WAS VERSTEHT MAN UNTER EINEM REINRAUM?
Unter Reinraum versteht man einen Raum, der die Funktion hat, die Partikelkonzentration in der Luft möglichst gering zu halten. Die rasante Entwicklung in der Forschung, Entwicklung und Fertigung erfordert in immer größerem Maße, dass die Umgebung möglichst „frei“ von luftgetragenen Teilchen ist. Dabei wird ein Grenzwert für die Partikelkonzentration festgelegt, welcher streng überwacht und eingehalten werden muss. Auf Grundlage der Messungen kann eine Klassifizierung des Reinraums (ISO 1-9) nach der Norm ISO-14644-1 vorgenommen werden. Die Einteilung in eine Klasse wird anhand der Partikelzahl pro m³ festgelegt.
Warum ist der Reinraum aber nun so wichtig?
In der heutigen Zeit gibt es immer mehr hochsensible Produkte, beispielsweise Halbleiter, bei deren Fertigung es unabdingbar ist, für einen Reinraum zu sorgen. Ansonsten kann die einwandfreie Qualität und Funktionsfähigkeit der Produkte nicht gewährleistet werden. Deshalb wird der Raum mit partikelfreier Luft kontinuierlich durchflutet und nur sterile Gegenstände in den Raum eingebracht. Dies hat natürlich auch zur Folge, dass Produktionsflächen regelmäßig desinfiziert werden müssen. Zudem kann es vorkommen, dass Substanzen eingesetzt werden, die eine Gefahr für Mensch und Umwelt darstellen (z. B. bei der Verarbeitung von toxischen Substanzen). Mithilfe des Einsatzes von Reinraummaßnahmen wird die Außenwelt von diesen gefährlichen Substanzen abgeschottet.
Wie entsteht ein Reinraum?
Ein Reinraum kann zunächst sehr verschieden konstruiert sein. Es wird unterschieden in Hardwall- (feste Wandelemente) und Softwall- (Folienwände) Reinräume – es gibt natürlich auch spezielle Sonderlösungen. Der Aufbau des Reinraums hängt vom jeweiligen Prozess ab, weshalb für eine Null-Fehler-Produktion immer die komplette Prozesskette betrachtet werden sollte. Immer mehr Branchen stellen einzelne Prozessschritte auf Reinraumbedingungen um, sodass eine erhöhte Produktqualität am Ende des Tages erzielt wird.
Deshalb spielen neben dem richtigen Aufbau des Reinraums auch Faktoren wie kontinuierliche Messungen, das Verhalten der Mitarbeiter und die fachgerechte Reinigung eine ausschlaggebende Rolle. Wie sollte sich ein Mitarbeiter im Reinraum verhalten?
Vor allem der Mensch stellt eine große Kontaminationsgefahr dar und muss sich deshalb entsprechend verhalten in einem Reinraum. Das Tragen von Reinraumkleidung ist Voraussetzung für das Betreten dieser geschützten Zone. Deshalb gibt es spezielle Reinraumschuhe, Reinraumkleidung, Reinraumhauben und Überziehschuhe, die getragen werden müssen. Das Essen und Trinken ist im Reinraum untersagt, weshalb es ratsam ist, Wasserspender in der Personenschleuse zur Verfügung zu stellen. Ist ein Mitarbeiter krank, wird dieser für den Zeitraum des Infekts durch einen Kollegen ersetzt. Grundsätzlich gilt natürlich, dass nur geschulte und so wenig wie möglich Mitarbeiter sich im Reinraum aufhalten. Zudem dürfen keine persönlichen Gegenstände an den Reinraum-Arbeitsplatz mitgenommen werden.
