Soldering training for companies
Practical training directly in your company - focussing on your components if required.
Manual soldering continues to play a crucial role.
Why soldering training is essential for your company’s success?
Although the industry is constantly evolving, hand soldering has never lost its importance in electronics manufacturing. Despite modern production facilities, many tasks still require manual rework – especially for highly complex soldering tasks, prototypes, small series, or rework. This is precisely where the competence of your employees determines the quality of your assemblies.
With our soldering training, you invest in process reliability, product quality, and expertise – individually tailored to your company.
PRODUCTION EMPLOYEES, who regularly perform hand soldering tasks
SKILLED WORKERS in final assembly or rework
New EMPLOYEES who are to be trained in soldering
QUALITY RESPONSIBLES who need to assess solder joints
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced specialist - we pick up the participants where they are and ensure that they develop their skills in a practical way.
Whether directly at your production facility or at our modern training center, we offer hands-on training sessions that are flexibly tailored to your requirements. This ensures that the content, scope, and learning environment are perfectly aligned with your processes and objectives.
Content, scope, and focus areas are specifically tailored to your processes, systems, and requirements – ensuring maximum practical value and sustainable learning outcomes.
Our trainers have many years of hands-on experience and in-depth expertise, ensuring clear content delivery and a strong practical focus.
Our training sessions are logically structured, easy to follow, and suitable for all experience levels. Complex topics are presented in a clear and accessible way and explained using practical examples with direct relevance to everyday work.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive a personal certificate as proof of the knowledge you have acquired – serving as an internal quality credential.
Typical contents of the training
Each soldering training course consists of a theoretical part (with a clear introduction) and an intensive practical part. The content can be customised, but we typically cover
Theory:
- ✔ Basics of soldering: physical principles & requirements
- ✔ Overview of tools, soldering agents & work equipment
- ✔ Quality of solder joints - how do you recognise good solder joints?
- ✔ Typical error patterns & how to avoid them
Practice:
- ✔ Hand soldering of THT & SMT components
- ✔ Rework & reworking of assemblies
- ✔ Stripping, pre-tinning and soldering stranded wires
- ✔ Exercises on our training board or your own circuit boards
- ✔ Joint evaluation & feedback
Training directly at your premises?
Every company has different products - and therefore different requirements. That's why we also offer the option of carrying out the training using your components, assemblies or product samples, which has several advantages: Employees recognise the direct link to practice, typical errors can be specifically addressed and avoided, and acceptance of the training increases noticeably
With on-site training, you save valuable time, reduce travel and organisational costs and keep interruptions to the ongoing production process to a minimum. At the same time, the content and focus can be specifically tailored to your systems, processes and requirements - for maximum practical relevance and lasting learning success.
Certificate and documentation
At the end of each training course, all participants receive a personal certificate as proof of participation. We can also provide additional documentation on request:
- ✔ All content covered in the soldering training course
- ✔ Theoretical and practical topics covered
- ✔ Individual focal points (e.g. focus on specific soldering techniques)
This can be helpful for internal audits or customer requirements, for example. A list of participants can also be kept on request.
Costs and organisation
The costs depend on:
- ✔ Number of participants
- ✔ Duration of training (usually 3 days)
- ✔ Location of the event
- ✔ Individual customisations (e.g. training on your ladder cards)
We will be happy to provide you with a non-binding quote. The investment in high-quality training pays for itself quickly - through fewer rejects, higher quality and safer processes.
