Certified ESD training courses

Our training programme includes: ESD Basics, ESD Specialist and ESD Coordinator. All training courses are conducted by our ESD experts and trainers Dirk Schwenner and Marco Petrick at our training centre in Gernlinden or at the training centre of our partner company in Lohmar. Whether in Bavaria or North Rhine-Westphalia - you will receive the best possible training, conducted in accordance with IEC 61340.

Why is ESD training so important?

In an ESD protection zone, people who work there must adhere to certain rules of behaviour to prevent damage from electrostatic discharge, particularly to ESD-sensitive electronic components. Successful compliance with effective ESD protection requires sensitising employees to the topic of ESD so that they understand the need for protective measures and comply with them.

To protect against damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD) in the electronics processing industry, international experts have developed standards that define the principles of ESD protection. The content of our training programme consistently follows the standards IEC 61340-5-1:2016 and the German edition DIN EN 61340-5-1:2016.
