SOLDERS AND SOLDERING ACCESSORIES FOR PRECISE AND CONTROLLED SOLDERING PROCESSES
In addition to solders and soldering agents, the right accessories play a decisive role in achieving clean and reproducible results. During production, service and repair work, they help to apply materials in a targeted manner, protect sensitive areas and carry out soldering processes in a controlled manner.
Accessories for the targeted application of fluxes
Flux pens are primarily used for the precise application of flux. They enable precise dosing directly at the soldering point without wetting surrounding areas. This is particularly important for fine conductor paths or SMD components, where clean and controlled work is required.
Masking and protective solutions for soldering processes
During selective soldering or reworking, certain areas of the PCB need to be specifically protected. This is where masking tapes, spot masks and masking dots are used. They prevent solder from inadvertently reaching neighbouring contacts or components and thus ensure clean solder joints. These solutions are often used in series production and for repairs when individual areas need to be specifically processed.
Accessories for repair and rework
Repair pens enable the targeted repair of conductor tracks or solder joints. They are used, for example, when conductor tracks are damaged or contact points need to be subsequently corrected. They are an important tool for precise reworking, especially for service staff or in quality assurance.
Temperature control in the soldering process
Temperature measuring strips help to visualise the actual temperatures reached during the soldering process. They are attached directly to components or circuit boards and change colour depending on the temperature. This allows thermal loads to be checked and processes to be reliably monitored, which is particularly important for sensitive components.
Fixing and positioning components
SMD adhesives are used to securely fix components to the PCB before the soldering process. This is particularly relevant for double-sided assemblies or when transporting assemblies, as components remain reliably in position and do not slip.
