Why are PCB magazines used?
PCB magazines enable the safe storage and structured transport of PCBs within electronics production. They protect assemblies from mechanical stress and support automated production and assembly processes.
When are PCB magazines used in SMT lines?
In SMT production lines, PCB magazines are used for material feeding, intermediate storage and transport between individual process steps. They support automated processes and improve the protection of sensitive assemblies.
What are the requirements for PCB handling in electronics production?
PCBs must be protected from mechanical stress, contamination and electrostatic charge during storage and transport. Specially adapted magazine and handling systems are therefore used.
When are placement frames used in electronics production?
Mounting frames are used to hold PCBs securely in place during assembly, soldering or mounting. They stabilise the assembly and prevent mechanical loads during automated or manual production processes. In SMT and THT applications in particular, placement frames improve positioning accuracy and process reliability during production.
