With the new XR® outsole system from ATLAS®, you can reach your destination sure-footed. The perfect combination of nitrile outsole and MPU® midsole is produced using the latest production technology in a direct foaming process. The interaction of several factors is crucial in this process: The ergonomic tread design of the nitrile outsole provides extreme grip, abrasion resistance and supports natural movement. With the highest slip resistance class SRC, it offers reliable grip even on slippery surfaces. In turn, the midsole is primarily responsible for soft-bedding cushioning. The basis is the unique multi-functional polyurethane, or MPU® for short. The combination of the specially profiled nitrile outsole and the extremely energy-absorbing and simultaneously stabilizing midsole guarantees the wearer unconditional grip on all surfaces.

With the puncture-resistant XP® technology, ATLAS® offers an innovative system to protect the foot against sharp objects, such as nails. A high-tech textile material containing aramid fibers is used for this purpose. This increased safety is not at the expense of wearing comfort, because the textile is metal-free, extremely light and supports the natural torsion of the foot.

The anatomically shaped steel toe cap protects the foot in the toe area against impact of min. 200 joules and a compressive stress of min. 15 kN, according to EN ISO 20345:2012.

The MPU® overcap offers special protection against abrasion in the toe area, protects the upper leather in this area against premature wear and noticeably increases the service life of the safety shoe.

Especially in everyday working life, with high physical stress, temperature-regulating properties are not only required but expected. The aktiv-X functional lining stands for highest quality, innovative technology and offers the wearer permanent, active moisture regulation. The aktiv-X functional lining has a moisture-regulating effect and ensures that the shoes dry again quickly. It does not stain, is skin-friendly and abrasion-resistant.

Work healthier with the right cushioning. The new 3D cushioning system from ATLAS® enables noticeably gentle and fatigue-free walking. The basis for this outstanding walking comfort is formed by three basic components: Pressure relief. Cushioning. Dynamics. This is ensured by the perfect interplay of a pressure-relieving insole and the lightweight and responsive MPU sole technology.
