TORX PLUS® profile: Compared to the "normal" TORX® profile, the enlargement of the 6 torque-transmitting flanks between the tool and screw is achieved by an elliptical rather than circular profile design. This distributes the applied force over a larger area when screwing. Higher torques are transmitted and the service life of the screw and tool is also increased.
