The RUNNER models from ATLAS® offer an extremely flexible fit thanks to the close-fitting monosock, whose upper material is made of very comfortable and elastic LIGHT KNIT. The 100% woven and seamless upper material combines optimum support and performance with pleasantly soft comfort for a natural running feel, while the LIGHT KNIT upper material used is particularly characterized by its precise fit. In the forefoot area, an open-mesh structure promotes breathability in particular, guaranteeing a pleasant, light and airy running sensation over the long term, while a close-meshed and robust knit is used on the outside to achieve a high level of durability. The padding on the upper collar ensures a good fit and noticeably increases comfort. The sole system offers maximum comfort in the working environment. A high level of comfort and a pleasantly soft footbed played a special role in its development, ensuring maximum flexibility, dynamism and comfort. The puncture-resistant steel midsole is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and protects the foot against sharp objects such as nails. It has been optimally adapted to the last fit and foamed into the midsole material. This means that you are optimally protected even during long and tough indoor and outdoor use.

The anatomically shaped steel toe cap protects the foot in the toe area from impacts of at least 200 joules and a compressive load of at least 15 kN, in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2012. Temperature-regulating properties are not only required, but expected, especially in everyday working life with high physical stress. The aktiv-X functional lining stands for the highest quality, innovative technology and offers the wearer permanent, active moisture regulation. The aktiv-X functional lining has a moisture-regulating effect and ensures that the shoes dry quickly. It does not stain, is skin-friendly and abrasion-resistant.

Healthier working with the right cushioning. The new MPU-REBOUND-SYSTEM from ATLAS® enables noticeably gentle and fatigue-free walking. The innovative sole system forms the basis for this outstanding walking comfort and offers pressure relief, cushioning and dynamics for the wearer, thanks to the perfect combination of a pressure-relieving insole and the light and responsive MPU foam. The ATLAS® clima-stream® concept maximizes breathability, balances out moisture inside the shoe and optimally regulates the temperature of the environment. The use of high-quality, particularly breathable upper material, the thermo-regulating inner lining and the Klima Komfort® insole ensure a unique wearing comfort.
