ERGO™ hexagon socket screwdriver with three-component handle, VDE insulated, 5 x 175 mm

The BAHCO ERGO™ hexagon socket screwdriver BE 8705S 5 × 175 mm is a high-quality, VDE-insulated tool that was developed as part of the ERGO™ process to combine ergonomic working, maximum precision and the highest level of safety. This screwdriver is specially designed for hexagon head screws and, thanks to its phosphated tip, enables precise power transmission for every application. It is suitable for working on live equipment up to 1000 V and meets the strict safety requirements of IEC 60900, including VDE certification. Each screwdriver is piece-checked and tested in a water bath at 10,000 V, ensuring maximum safety.

The high-alloy steel blade is sprayed on directly insulated, guaranteeing reliable protection against electric shocks and a long service life. With a blade length of 175 mm and an overall length of 297 mm, the screwdriver can also reach deep-set screw positions and hard-to-reach areas.

The ergonomic 3-component handle combines soft material for maximum comfort with a rigid surface for optimum power transmission. The ergonomic design minimizes the effort required and significantly increases ease of use. Color markings and symbols at the end of the handle make it quick and easy to identify the correct blade, while the flattened handle geometry prevents it from rolling away on the workbench. The integrated hanging hole ensures neat and space-saving storage. With a handle length of 122 mm, a handle width of 27 mm and a handle diameter of 27 mm, the screwdriver sits securely and comfortably in the hand, even during prolonged use.
