Ball joint vice SPANNFIX 4.0 for screw mounting

With a jaw width of 100 mm, the SPANNFIX 4.0 is the largest ball-joint vice on the market and impresses with its clamping pins, exchangeable clamping jaws, centering eye and outstanding ball clamping force. The ball joint allows the head of the SPANNFIXES to be rotated 360° and tilted up to 90°. Working at any conceivable angle is possible. Different shapes are also no problem. No matter if round or angular. The 4 clamping horns adapt to the product in shape and size. They can be rotated in the axis and have a firm grip on any object. The centering eye ensures plumb work. The workpiece can be aligned and machined in balance. In addition to the clamping horns, the SPANNFIX has profiled steel jaws which have been designed as reversible jaws and can be exchanged. They have a smooth side as well as a side with a stepped edge and two vertical grooves, which prevent slipping, e.g. of rods and bolts (pipe clamping jaws). An integrated ruler offers the possibility to read off clamping depths directly at the vice. The 105 mm clamping width can thus be used in the best possible way.
The SPANNFIX 9-292 is suitable for all workbenches and surfaces due to its screw-on foot. With the help of the four through holes (Ø 10 mm), the vice can be attached to any table top. A lever pressure is sufficient and the clamped workpiece can be fixed steplessly in any practical working position.
The vice with ball is also excellently suited as a carving ball or carving vice. The foot part with thread alone can be useful for clamping or clamping carving work and carving blanks. The SPANNFIX is a universal ball-and-socket clamping device. A third hand as a useful clamping and holding device with quick release mechanism, a useful aid in any workshop.
