ESD desoldering braid NO-CLEAN, 1.9 mm, green, 1.5 m
Techspray 1822-5F No-Clean desoldering braid with a width of 1.9 mm leaves no ionic flux residues that can accumulate and form branches, so-called "dendrites". The desoldering braid is a copper braid wetted with flux that is used to remove solder so that components can be replaced and excess solder removed. The soldering iron is placed on the braid - as soon as both have been brought to the correct temperature, the flux is activated. The capillary action of the braid draws the solder up the wire. Techspray desoldering braids are available on ESD-safe spools and are therefore suitable for use with ESD-sensitive components.
