ESD desoldering braid Pro-Wick®, 1.9 mm, green, 1.5 m
For fast and efficient cleaning, the 1.9 mm wide 1810-5F desoldering braid wetted with Rosin flux is ideal for the production/repair of PCBs in large quantities. The desoldering braid is a flux wetted copper braid that is used to remove solder so that components can be replaced and excess solder removed. The soldering iron is placed on the braid - as soon as both have been brought to the correct temperature, the flux is activated. The capillary action of the braid draws the solder up the wire. Techspray desoldering braids are available on ESD-safe spools and are therefore suitable for use with ESD-sensitive components.
