• When working on live parts, the user's safety is paramount. Wiha's insulated sockets are convincing as the ideal tool for working on electrical equipment. In combination with the insulated ratchet wrench or cross-handle adapter, the sockets can be used for tightening and loosening hexagonal screws. The insulated sockets are subjected to routine testing in accordance with the international standard IEC 60900 and enable safe working around live parts up to 1,000 V AC. Particularly in confined working environments, the fully insulated tools prevent a short circuit if two conductors accidentally come into contact.
