Application: Safe installation of terminals and sleeves, conductor connections, screwing of busbars. For working around live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
When working on live parts, the safety of the user is paramount. Especially when screwing on busbars in the distribution box, electricians are well equipped with the insulated torque wrench with 10° switching angle. The torque wrench with clockwise/anticlockwise rotation is thus ideal for powerful but controlled tightening. By pulling out and turning the end of the handle, the required torque value can be set manually by looking at the numerical scale. Furthermore, the sockets fitted to the 1/4" square drive provide a secure grip thanks to the ball lock. When tightened sensitively, the torque mechanism in the wrench kinks noticeably when the set torque value is reached. The insulated torque wrench is subjected to routine testing in accordance with the international standard EN/IEC 60900 and enables safe working around live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
