Particularly when connecting fine-wire conductors in terminals, electricians must ensure that individual wires are not crushed or pushed past. Otherwise, there is a risk of cable breaks or even short circuits, which ultimately represent a potential cause of fire. Wire end ferrules can prevent this and ensure contact reliability and thus long-term operational safety. The conical collar makes it easier to insert the stranded wire into the sleeve during installation. By means of the sleeve, insertion of the cable into the terminal is also simplified. For ease of use, the ferrules are stored in the scatter box with a latching function to prevent accidental opening. Wiha's halogen-free ferrules have a heat resistance of up to 105°C. They are manufactured according to DIN 46228, here the German color code (code 2) corresponds to the DIN color code.
