The FX-805 with 400 W composite heating element, the highest power with HAKKO composite tips, enables fast heating. It is ideally suited for soldering transformers or coils on power supply boards or shielding housings on communication devices.

Changing the handpiece to the FX-8005 enables N2 soldering. Heated N2 gas, which escapes from the tip end, helps with insufficient heating, improves solder wetting and reduces the thermal load on heat-sensitive components.
