The high-tech MESH UPPER encloses the foot perfectly and guarantees the wearer lasting breathability, flexibility and unmistakable comfort. The air texture of the fabric guarantees optimum air circulation and thus ensures a permanently pleasant foot climate. The sole system offers maximum comfort in the working environment. With the puncture-resistant XP® technology, ATLAS® offers an innovative system to protect the foot against sharp objects such as nails. A high-tech textile material containing aramid fibers is used for this purpose. This means that the increased safety is not at the expense of wearing comfort, as the textile is metal-free, extremely light and supports the natural torsion of the foot.
The anatomically shaped steel toe cap protects the foot in the toe area against impacts of at least 200 joules and a compressive load of at least 15 kN, in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2012. Especially when kneeling, signs of wear can occur in the toe area of the shoe after some time. This can be significantly reduced with the help of the reinforced toe protection, thus increasing the service life of the shoe.
