FTM Technologies is a French manufacturer with decades of experience in the development and production of electric soldering irons, thermal tools and air filtration systems for industrial applications. The company's roots go back to 1918, when the first electric soldering irons were produced under the brand name SEM. Today, FTM Technologies continues this tradition as the last French full-range supplier of soldering technology. FTM Technologies' equipment and tools are used in demanding industries such as aerospace, medical technology, the nuclear industry and defence. In addition to thermally regulated soldering stations and systems for desoldering electronic components, FTM Technologies also manufactures specialised solutions for restoration and electrical engineering. Production takes place in Nanterre, where the SEM products are also manufactured.
