Application: Safe installation of terminals and sleeves, conductor connections, screwing of busbars. For working around live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
When working on live parts, the user's safety is paramount. The insulated sockets from Wiha are convincing as the ideal tool for working on electrical systems. In combination with the insulated ratchet wrench, the sockets can be used for tightening and loosening hexagonal screws. In addition, the sockets can be combined with the speedE® and slimVario® handles from Wiha using the slimVario® electric adapter. The insulated sockets are subjected to routine testing in accordance with the international IEC 60900 standard and enable safe working around live parts up to 1,000 V AC. Particularly in confined work environments, the fully insulated tools prevent short circuits if two conductors accidentally come into contact.
