The hydrophobized microfibre upper material is a fabric made of textile fibres and combines various advantages. The fabric is particularly permeable to air, has a breathable effect and is therefore very comfortable to wear. Its properties also make it water-repellent, quick-drying and hard-wearing. The sole system offers maximum comfort in the working environment. A high level of comfort and a pleasant soft footbed played a special role in the development of the shoe, offering maximum flexibility, dynamism and comfort. With the puncture-resistant XP® technology, ATLAS® offers an innovative system to protect the foot against sharp objects such as nails. A high-tech textile material containing aramid fibers is used for this purpose. This means that increased safety is not at the expense of comfort, as the textile is metal-free, extremely light and supports the natural torsion of the foot.

The anatomically shaped steel toe cap protects the foot in the toe area from impacts of at least 200 joules and a compressive load of at least 15 kN, in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2012.
