ATLAS® only uses the best quality cowhides. An extremely careful selection process ensures that only flawless, high-quality and soft leather is used, and the ATLAS Waterproof smooth leather has to withstand special challenges throughout the working day. The approx. 2 mm thick full-grain cowhide leather is particularly characterized by its lasting waterproofness and thus ensures dry feet for several hours. It is also particularly breathable, durable and retains its shape.

Employees who pave freeways or roads often have to cover many kilometers a day on a hot surface and therefore place very special demands on their footwear. The new THERMO TECH sole system is a holistic outsole concept and supports the wearer in every phase of movement. The high-tech sole system has been specially developed for the requirements of road construction in order to maintain the health of all employees - and thus prevent work and production losses in the long term. Thanks to the innovative HEAT PROTECT MPU core, the safety shoe has a heat-insulating effect and is comfortable to wear. The large-format MPU core, which is equipped with particularly energy-absorbent MPU material, noticeably regulates the temperature and creates an unmistakable walking comfort.ATLAS also uses a treadless nitrile outsole to prevent unwanted marks on the surface. At the same time, the sole system is lightweight, flexible and particularly slip-resistant. With the puncture-resistant XP® technology, ATLAS® offers an innovative system to protect the foot against sharp objects such as nails. A high-tech textile material containing aramid fibers is used for this purpose. This means that increased safety is not at the expense of comfort, as the textile is metal-free, extremely light and supports the natural torsion of the foot.

The anatomically shaped steel toe cap protects the foot in the toe area from impacts of at least 200 joules and a compressive load of at least 15 kN, in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2012. Temperature-regulating properties are not only required, but expected, especially in everyday working life with high physical strain. The aktiv-X functional lining stands for the highest quality, innovative technology and offers the wearer permanent, active moisture regulation. The aktiv-X functional lining has a moisture-regulating effect and ensures that the shoes dry quickly. It does not stain, is skin-friendly and abrasion-resistant. Healthier working with the right cushioning. The new MPU-REBOUND-SYSTEM from ATLAS® enables noticeably gentle and fatigue-free walking. The innovative sole system forms the basis for this outstanding walking comfort and offers pressure relief, cushioning and dynamics for the wearer, thanks to the perfect combination of a pressure-relieving insole and the light and responsive MPU foam.
