Long ¼" hand and machine socket wrench bit (ISO 2725 part 3) with ball catch groove; for hexagon head bolts and nuts. For use in manual and machine operation (non-impact), even with deep-set screw connections and protruding threaded rods. The hexagonal profile enables high forces to be transmitted and puts less stress on the edges of the nut or screw head than a twelve-sided profile. Fine-toothed ratchets also make the use of a hexagonal profile superfluous, even in confined spaces, thanks to their small swing-back angle.
