Stainless steel baskets are particularly suitable for holding sonication items, as they ensure safe and gentle treatment during ultrasonic operation. As objects must not be placed directly on the bottom of the tank - in order to avoid abrasion between the items to be sonicated and the ultrasonic oscillating tank - the use of a suitable basket is recommended. The baskets are designed in such a way that the sonication material is always perfectly positioned in the sound field and is located in the optimum area of the cavitation field, approximately 1-2 cm above the floor. At the same time, they enable optimum loading and unloading as well as efficient use of space within the oscillating tank. Thanks to their robust design, they are also ideal for heavy components. Such a basket makes it easy to insert and remove the sonication material and allows, for example, subsequent rinsing without the user coming into contact with the sonication liquid.
